-Mission Troopers Equine Program

Mission22 November 12, 2021

Horseback riding is proven to build self-confidence, improve coordination and balance, and increase children’s ability to focus. Working with horses also reduces stress, as children bond with the animals.

The Mission Troopers Equine Program is a pilot program launched in 2018, designed for the children and grandchildren of Veterans. The program offers participants riding lessons at no cost for a duration of one year and is currently only available at our headquarters in Sisters, Oregon. We’re excited to continue developing and growing this program and, hopefully, it will be available in other locations in the future.
